The name Jean Isabella is more than a pen name; it’s a legacy and a dream.

Jean was my mother's name. She was a woman who adored romance, who believed in epic love, but never quite got to experience the kind she deserved. After she passed in January 2024, I picked up a pen to honor her memory by writing the kind of consuming, passionate, and heartfelt stories she would have loved to get lost in.

Isabella represents the dream. It’s a name associated with nobility, elegance, and strength. It’s a nod to the women in my stories who are forces in their own right, and to the power that lives inside every woman, waiting to be unleased.

Like many women, I wear a lot of hats: mom, wife, daughter, and corporate professional. My life is full of love and responsibility, but I believe everyone has an inner world that deserves a voice. For me, writing is that voice. The world of Jean Isabella is my outlet—a place to explore the intoxicating freedom of surrendering to a love that reawakens the soul.
